Perform maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, & repair of low, medium & high voltage equipment in a safe & efficient manner Commissioning, & start-up of low, medium, & high voltage equipment & apparatus associated with an electrical power system Act as liaison with subcontractors & clients, develop customer service relationships Supervise/lead projects to ensure successful project execution according to company & client standards Provide mentorship to junior technologists & support to team members Ensure completion of technical reports & test sheets Conduct work in a manner prescribed by JA Tech’s Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental Manual
Education & Experience
Punctual Team Player Able to manage multiple priorities Experience drafting is an asset Experience with testing equipment (Omicron, Doble, etc.) & relay testing with various equipment (SEL, GE, Siemens, ABB, etc.) Experience in substations Ability to understand & perform technically complex calculations Strong knowledge of drawings (wiring, schematic, & layout) Minimum 5 years’ field experience Diploma from recognized Electrical Engineering Technology Program
