BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE Position: Full-time Permanent This is an Inside Sales position and in this role, you will collaborate with the Sales Manager to achieve sales targets consistently, providing constructive, actionable feedback for improvements. Key responsibilities: ● Promote the business through cold calling, emailing and other communication(s) with prospective clients ● Follow-up on leads generated by Marketing or SDR’s ● Build relationships with, advise, and close deals with new business clients ● Scheduling initial meetings for the Sales Team / Consultants ● Meet or exceed the assigned quota and customer activity measures of 4-5 meetings 30-40 emails per day ● Drive pipeline growth through strong follow-up and engagement ● Maintain all leads, contacts and opportunities in a database ● Research and evaluate additional leads/prospects through web research ● Own the full Sales Cycle ● Identify and map business strengths and customer needs
Have 3-5 years of Inside Sales or Business Development related sales experience ● Have at least 1+ years experience in closing B2B sales; experience in media sales considered an asset ● Ability to consistently achieve or exceed predetermined sales goals ● Have exceptional Customer Service skills ● Have a proven track record, demonstrating sales via phone and email ● Have exceptional phone, written, and interpersonal skills; world-class presentation skills ● Have a positive attitude and demonstrated ability to deal with rejection ● Are self-motivated, persistent and able to work independently ● Have an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition ● Thrive in a startup environment where all teams are agile and ongoing reprioritization is required
