Job Duties

Demonstrates the ability to lead a team of 3-15 crew members Planting trees, laying sod, grading dirt and building patios and fences etc. Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of construction workers who operate skid steers, loaders, excavators, grade levels, paving, drilling, and other similar heavy equipment. (Training can be provided) Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers Requisition materials and supplies Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity Train or arrange for training of workers Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions May also supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of related apprentices, helpers and labourers.

Job Requirements

Experience with blueprints and landscape designs is an asset Drivers licence is an asset Punctual Able to work long hours, standing, crouching, and lift 50Lbs repeatedly Willing to work evenings and weekends as well overtime as required Work as a team or independent to complete tasks Able to write reports and provide customer service to customers on site
